Chalet Michaelis is a truly unique chalet situated in an exceptional location in the iconic Austrian village of Lech, offering breathtaking views of the Arlberg Mountains at 1,700 m (5,580 feet).

The Michaelis family first explored the Ski Arlberg region and its unique landscape during a ski tour in the 1940s. After introducing the village to friends and acquaintances, who then opened hotels and restaurants, the Michaelis family acquired their own ski lodge in 1953.

In 2008 and 2023, the chalet underwent significant renovations to become an authentic luxury chalet for guests from around the globe. The character of the home and typical features of an alpine ski chalet have been preserved, combined with modern amenities, all designed by michaelis interiors.

With its enviable location directly on the ski slopes and hiking trails, Chalet Michaelis offers access to Austria's largest ski area, featuring over 300 km of ski runs, 200 km of powder runs, and 350 km of marked hiking trails. The area also boasts the densest selection of gourmet restaurants in Austria, known as the "Gourmet Village." Chalet Michaelis welcomes group gatherings and large families as the perfect getaway.
